Prof. Martin Maiden

Redoviti profesor romanskih jezika

Martin Maiden je lingvist specijaliziran za romansku lingvistiku, s posebnim istraživačkim interesima za rumunjski i talijanski iz lingvističke, dijalektološke, povijesno-lingvističke i morfološke perspektive. Profesor je romanskih jezika na Sveučilištu u Oxfordu te direktor Oksfordskog istraživačkog centra za romansku lingvistiku (od 2007. godine). Član je Britanske akademije i Akademije Europaea.

Među njegovim značajnijim nedavnim publikacijama su The Cambridge History of the Romance Languages (suurednik, 2011. i 2013.), The Oxford Guide to the Romance Languages (suurednik, 2016.), The Oxford History of Romanian Language (suuautor) i The Cambridge Handbook of Romance Linguistics (suurednik, 2022.). Autor je i oko 150 drugih znanstvenih studija, uključujući tri knjige.
