The fourth stage draws on data from Filipi’s dialect surveys of the beginning of the twenty-first century. These data are also borne out by the results of recent dialect surveys by Pop, Bărdășan, Miclăuș, Nevaci, and other researchers (Potoroacă, Deleanu, Baron) and especially by the testimony of one Istro-Romanian speaker, Mr Pepo Glavina, a descendant of Andrei Glavina.
